Hello everyone. Hope you've all been doing alright since the last update.

This update opens the world up a little bit more with a new area, the Night District. This is where you must head to continue your search for answers, as well as the most dangerous part of the city. I had fun exploring the dark side of the setting a bit, brainstorming what a place without laws would look like in a world where transformation is normal and easily accessible. I’ve had a few ideas that I included in this update following that line of thought and many more that I will implement in the future.

I have also started to expand the gameplay a bit as I had planned from the start and some people have requested. From now on, I will try to give money, items in your inventory and the clothes you are wearing a lot more importance. What if you could use potions for something other than drinking them? What if dressing up as a priestess opens up options that wouldn’t be normally available? I’ll admit it’s not something easy to implement, I have to be careful to not bloat the scope of the game beyond something I can handle reasonably, but it’s something I want to explore from now on. Following the next update, I will also start making small changes to existing content to make it a bit more dynamic.

One thing you will realise is that you still can’t complete the next step of the main quest. I have been working on this update for longer than I’d like and I decided to release it as-is for now, planning to follow it up with one or two minor updates with any missing content before the next major one. I imagine this isn’t the kind of game anyone plays for hours on end, so hopefully a small update from time to time won’t hurt the overall coherency of the development.

Other than that I have reworked the first bad end of the game, accessed right at the intro. Initially I had set it up as a test environment and since erroneously forgotten about it. It was bad, but only because I purposefully didn’t put any work in it without realising how bad it was to have the very first bad end in the game be the worst one. It is now a fully fleshed out scene and I hope you will check it out at some point. The save and load screens have also received substantial reworks to improve the overall game experience.

As mentioned in the last update, I have opened Ko-fi tiers in hopes to boost the game’s support a bit. If it was up to me, I’d be working on the game 9-5 and delivering content at a steady pace. But that isn’t the most responsible thing to commit to if I’m not financially secure. This will be the first update to go on early-access to the supporters and it will be released publicly in a month or so. I will continue to work on bug fixes, new content and supporter polls until then, but I also must dedicate my time to bigger responsibilities. I apologise if the updates slow down once again, but I hope this is an understandable scenario.

Thank you once again for everyone who showed support through comments, bug reports, feedback and subscriptions. I hope to continue entertaining you with my stories.

Cheers.

I'd really recommend making the save/load menu ordered by date. I cannot at all recall which save was my latest one since the last update.

Also, where is v.07? It's still just v0.6 up for download.

The save menu has been reworked to be organized by date as described on the changelog.

v0.7 is up on Ko-fi as described both on the changelog and the game's main page. The public release will be avaliable on itch.io in a month.
